Professor Bedwyn always left her door open for the students. After all, she was only about 22 years old and didn't want to give up childhood completely yet. Plus, she loved to talk with students about anything ranging from classes, to quidditch, to gossip. She didn't care; she didn't want her students to hate her.

Navi knocked on the Professor's door, stepping back and waiting for her to answer. When she heard a voice say, "Come in." she stepped in reluctantly and said, "Professor....I have a question."

"Ask away, my dear." Professor Bedwyn said. She looked at the little faerie girl.....so like her when she was younger. She looked incredibly shy, but her eyes shone with intensity and bravery, like there was something she was trying to get out of life, but couldn't quite reach it.

"If I get permission from the Headmistress, would it be okay if I kept my horse in the stables behind your house? I will clean up and look after the place...I'll even look after the unicorn colt! Please...I miss her so much!" Navi burst out, her eyes starting to blur. She missed poor Rayne; she had been the only true friend she had ever had, the only one who always listened to her. She reminded her of her sweet mother; sometimes she even felt as if her mother's spirit was within Rayne, looking out for her and protecting her; always there to comfort her in times of need. She looked at the Professor, waiting for an answer.

"Of course you can, Navi! I would love the company, and the help would be nice." she said, staring at the young child. She seemed incredibly attached to the horse, just as she had always been attached to animals in general. She'd loved them; they never talked, could never tell you that your ideas were stupid. They were all around, great friends and companions. She walked over to the girl, taking out a handkerchief and wiping the corners of her eyes. "Don't cry...It'll be okay. I'm fine with it, but you have to get permission first." The girl looked at her and smiled, the puppy that Jenny had brought curling around her ankles.

"Thank you so much...it means a lot to me." Navi said, smiling. She hugged the Professor and walked back to the castle. Professor Bedwyn was a mother figure to her. She had been her favorite teacher ever since she had come to Moonwhisp and she loved to sit and talk with her for hours on end about absolutely nothing at all. She even loved her classes; they were fun and interesting. She smiled before walking into the castle.
